Meet Our Staff

Meet Karen De Loy Swain

I specialize in homes, home offices and paper.

I will never, ever under any circumstances throw any of your stuff away. Working together we may decide based on your wants and needs to move some things to another location.

The before and after examples were all done in ONE four-hour appointment.

I also help with areas that need less help. I can help to stream-line areas that are just quietly driving you mad.

I am a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), the NAPO-WDC Chapter, and NAPO’s Golden Circle, a prestigious designation available to NAPO members who have worked as a professional organizer for 5 or more years.

Meet Laurie Beth

Laurie Beth Coleman recently moved to the Northern Virginia area from Michigan where her job involved cleaning and organizing work for both residential and commercial office spaces.

She is a very creative person, and has an interest in the design side of any business. She holds a degree in graphic design. Laurie finds that this education has helped tremendously in her organizing endeavors. It allows her to see the big picture, the end picture and to image different ways of getting there.

Laurie Beth comes from a family of teachers. She has the ability to easily teach new clients the “how to’s” of organizing.

She also has a love of, and experience with children of all ages. She has worked at numerous day cares, was a professional nanny.

She is happy, flexible, hard working, and open to any job. Now that she is working in the organizing profession she is here to help you with any problems you might have.

Meet Andrea Hancock

Andrea Hancock came to organizing through personal experience. After moving herself three times in one year (once from Hawaii) and severely lightening her load in order to fit into “cozy” New York apartments, Hancock realized that many busy people could benefit from her expertise.

Her mission is to help busy, creative people clear the clutter in their space that weighs on their mind. She inspires her clients to discover their personal sense of organization, teaching them the skills to get organized and stay that way.

All work and no play makes for a very dull organizer. When not organizing Andrea enjoys writing and performing original songs. She was selected as a 2008 finalist in The Washington Post Pet Song contest for her original song Sami Cat.
